What is RITECA?

the Cross-border Research Network of Extremadura, Centro and Alentejo (RITECA) is a european project whose  purpose is  to create a framework for collaboration between institutions in the Centro and Alentejo regions of Portugal and Extremadura in the field of Research, Technological Development and Innovation that will facilitate and accelerate these regions towards meeting the Lisbon objectives of the European Union. The project is in its second phase and is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Operational Programme for Cross-border Cooperation: Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2007-2013.
