Task 1.- Computer aided surgery system (CAS) applied to laparoscopic interventions

This project establishes an area of cooperation that enables the acquisition of the knowledge needed to develop a system to assist surgeons during liver interventions. The expected results of this project are to produce a prototype for assisted surgery which will provide useful information for performing liver resections and based on which these can be performed with greater precision. It is also expected to produce different scientific communications and publications.

This project aims to research ecological and innovative materials and their application in sports equipment and spread knowledge about sports innovation, sports therapy, monitoring movements in people, active aging, healthy sport, active nature tourism and the use of water resources.

Sectorial workshops will also be held, aimed at manufacturers and potential manufacturers of the latest generation of sports equipment. It will also work with the University to provide businesses access to research and will develop five sports research grants.
