The roundtable is conceived as a moment of dynamic interaction among local authorities, irrigation communities, and experts (in EU policies and satellite applications). On the basis of the operational good practices presented, experts and users will have the opportunity to discuss the prerequisites for the take-up of satellite services and the benefits resulting from their application to irrigation water management. Public authorities, irrigation communities, agricultural experts will evaluate the transferability of their peers’ experiences and to highlight challenges for them in accessing innovative technologies and satellite services.
